It's been a difficult process for Back Nine host, Dustin Ashby, as he's rehabilitating from his recent surgery. Ashby was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma in mid June and underwent surgery to eradicate the cancer on June 21st.

Pros play mind games with themselves. After I stretch and warm up my body, I start my pre-round practice with a long club rather than a wedge. The 3-iron is about the hardest club in the bag for me to hit, so I swing it first, at a moderate speed.

The leaves are changing and have already begun to flood the lawns and streets (at least here in St. Louis, maybe not for my friends in San Diego). Recently, I took a trip to visit the Titleist Performance Institute. Where I had my golf swing video taped and then had some physical testing done. I was amazed to find out that some of my own golf swing issues that I have been trying to fix are a result of physical and mobility issues. These issues included strength in certain areas of my body, physical mobility as it related to the golf swing and everyday movements, and flexibility.
