Vary your grip pressure to shape different shots - You can strengthen your grip by turning your hands away from the target to promote a draw, but an easier way to produce right-to-left ball flight is to reduce your grip pressure. In fact, changing your grip tension will allow you to hit a draw, fade, and other shots without making any other swing or stance adjustments.

Off the tee many people are trying to shape their shots according to the lay of the hole or just trying to hit them straight. The straight shot is the hardest to hit. But what I find when working with students is that they miss there shots in one direction more that the other.

Recently, I took a trip to visit the Titleist Performance Institute. Where I had my golf swing video taped and then had some physical testing done. I was amazed to find out that some of my own golf swing issues that I have been trying to fix are a result of physical and mobility issues. These issues included strength in certain areas of my body, physical mobility as it related to the golf swing and everyday movements, and flexibility.
