The U.S. Senior Open this week represents a homecoming of sorts for Jim Holtgrieve.

To clarify, he was not born or reared in Colorado Springs, Colo., site of the tournament July 31-Aug. 3. What's more, he has never competed at The Broadmoor Golf Club, the host facility. Holtgrieve is a St. Louis guy, Westborough Country Club to be exact.
