Veteran PGA Tour players Jay Delsing and Jay Williamson will be among more than 160 golfers seeking to secure a spot on the 2009 PGA Tour. The top 25 finishers this week at PGA West will receive status on the PGA Tour throughout 2009.

The PGA Tour revamped its FedEx Cup race Tuesday for the third straight year of its existence, this one geared toward making sure the winner of the $10 million prize is decided at the Tour Championship.

Buick this morning announced that the car company and Tiger Woods have mutually agreed to end their nine-year relationship. The deal, estimated to be in the low-eight figures annually, was scheduled to run through '09, but was ended a year early amid the worsening financial situation of U.S. carmakers.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL- The Champions Tour Tournament Association (CTTA) announced that Bob Goalby has been named the 2008 winner of the Bruno Award. The announcement was made by CTTA Board Member, Jim Correll today at the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn in Hickory, NC.

November 13, Old Warson CC - Skip Berkmeyer headed the list of honorees at the 2008 MAGA Player of the Year Banquet, Thursday evening, November 13, at Old Warson Country Club. Berkmeyer earned the Player of the Year award for the third straight year (and seven times overall) on the strength of his play locally, regionally and nationally. Other award-winners included: Scott Thomas (Senior Player of the Year), Chelsea Schriewer, right, (Women's Player of the Year) and Barbara Berkmeyer (Senior Women's Player of the Year). The MAGA also recognized Bellerive as winners of the 2008 Metropolitan Cup.
