PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL- The Champions Tour Tournament Association (CTTA) announced that Bob Goalby has been named the 2008 winner of the Bruno Award. The announcement was made by CTTA Board Member, Jim Correll today at the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn in Hickory, NC.

November 13, Old Warson CC - Skip Berkmeyer headed the list of honorees at the 2008 MAGA Player of the Year Banquet, Thursday evening, November 13, at Old Warson Country Club. Berkmeyer earned the Player of the Year award for the third straight year (and seven times overall) on the strength of his play locally, regionally and nationally. Other award-winners included: Scott Thomas (Senior Player of the Year), Chelsea Schriewer, right, (Women's Player of the Year) and Barbara Berkmeyer (Senior Women's Player of the Year). The MAGA also recognized Bellerive as winners of the 2008 Metropolitan Cup.

November 15, 2008 - Q-School is considered to be the most grueling test of golf and golf tournament in the world. Each stage presents a different set of challengers, a different golf course and the best golfers in the world not already on an established Tour in the field.

St. Louisan Jay Delsing fired a three-under 69 in third round action Friday at the PGA Tour Q School Stage 2 qualifying at Callaway Gardens' Mountain View Course in Pine Mountain, Ga. The round gave Delsing a three-round total of 8-under 208, good for a tie for 18th.
