Homes and property in Bridgeton, Missouri were destroyed when a tornado rolled through town in late April.

The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF4 tornado struck the Bridgeton area. EF4 damage indicates winds of 166 to 200 miles per hour.

The result was property damaged and lives changed forever.

The Members and Staff of Norwood Hills Country Club, in conjunction with the City of Bridgeton, are showcasing once again why the game of golf is so great.  The PGA Tour has long been known for his charitable contributions, bouncing around from city to city and benefiting worthy causes around the globe in its fund raising efforts.  This time however, it's not the PGA Tour and the beneficiary isn't on the other side of the globe.  It's time to help those in our own back yard.

Tuesday, August 9th the City of Bridgeton and the victims of the devastating storm of late April need you on the golf course, specifically the East Course at Norwood Hills Country Club.  The day will consist of a 4-person Golf Scramble and Victim Benefit Auction following play featuring heavy Hors d'oeuvres and Cash Bar at a post golf reception.  Come for the golf, come for the post golf reception or sponsor a hole - all to benefit the victims of the Bridgeton Tornado.
