August 7, 2011 - Adam Scott captured in his 8th win on the PGA Tour and first World Golf Championships Event at the Bridgestone Invitational. Scott essentially did everything well. He drove it long, hit it straight, putted it well and arguably most impressively, he handled the chaos surrounding having Tiger Woods' former caddy on his bag.

August 5th - St. Louis, MO - The United States Amateur field is set for the 111 playing of season's premier amateur competition of the year. The site for this year's championship is Erin Hills in Erin Wisconsin.

July 29, 2011 - Rory McIlroy had a terse response over Twitter with Jay Townsend, a former European Tour Player who now works for BBC Radio and is a regular contributor on The Golf Channel.

The City of Bridgeton and Norwood Hills Country Club are teaming up to host a 4-person scramble on August 9th to raise money for the Tornado Relief effort.
