What could you and Tiger Woods, the best golfer in the world, have in common? Right now, probably nothing. But with a little bit of practice, you can duplicate Tiger's perfect set-up. Then...you won't be struggling to break 100 much longer.

If your setup is off in ANY way, you are hindering your ability to make powerful, consistent golf swings. Tiger hits the ball longer and straighter than anybody else in the world, and HE HAS A PERFECT SET-UP. Coincidence? Absolutely not!

Start with your feet a little wider than shoulder-width apart( for most full-swing shots), with your weight evenly distributed between them. Flex the knees slightly. Bend forward from the hips so your rear end sticks out and your spine is straight. The arms should HANG from the shoulders, so there is only about 4-6 inches between the club and your thighs. Your weight should be centered- under the arches of your feet. Lastly, get your chin up, making sure there is space between your chin and neck.

You don't have to be physically gifted to do any of this. You just need to be diligent, and check yourself in a mirror. Compare yourself to Tiger or any other touring pro, all of whom begin in good postion.
