It's the Open Championship edition of The Back Nine Radio Show on 101.1 ESPN with Dustin Ashby and Tobin Lingafelter. Brandt Snedeker held a 1 shot lead over Adam Scott heading into the 3rd round of the 2012 Open Championship at Royal Lytham, but that lead would quickly disintegrate.
Jon Tattersall, who participated in Golf Magazine's book - The Best Driving Instruction Book Ever - joined the show to discuss the keys to playing Royal Lytham. Tattersall was born about 40 miles from Royal Lytham and has played the golf course several times in competition.
Dene Shickedanz, the Men's Golf Coach at Edwardsville High School, introduced a golf clinic being held on Tuesday evenings in July at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton, IL. The clinic is designed to allow children with disabilities an opportunity to learn the game of golf in a very relaxed and safe environment. Ethan Luecke, a recent winner on the emerging Accelerated Golf Tour, joined the show to discuss his victory. Ethan will be a Junior at Warrenton High School and is preparing for future golf opportunities in college.
