Look to Retain Title April 18-19
In 2009
we saw the resurrection of the Gateway PGA/MAGA Cup Matches with the
Amateurs holding off the pros 15-9. The two will again tussle for
bragging rights April 18-19 at Gateway National
Golf Links.
 Skip Berkmeyer
, reigning Metropolitan Player of the
Year, will captain the amateur squad. The
amateur squad will be made up of 14 players, 10 regulars and 4 seniors.
Those representing the amateurs and MAGA will be:
Regulars:
Skip Berkmeyer, Ted Moloney, Darren
Lundgren, Tom Barry, David Johnson, Chad Niezing, Paul Neeman, Jack
Eisenbeis, John Anderson and Jim Holtgrieve. Seniors: Scott
Edwards, Scott Thomas, David Lucks and Jeff Johnson.
Representing
the Gateway PGA will be:
Regulars: Bob Gaus, JC Anderson, Mike Suhre, Brian
Fogt, Steve Hausmann, Ryan Roy, Mike Tucker, Kevin Triefenbach, Mark
Faulkner, Brett Moomey. Seniors: John Hayes, Brad
Hulett, Steve Lotz and Bill Hall.
Format for the two days of competition will be:
Sunday PM -
Four-Ball Matches; Monday AM - Foursomes and Monday PM - Individual
Matches. |
