July 11 - Country Club of St. Albans - You've heard the saying, horses for courses? Well consider the Country Club of St. Albans one of Scott Langley's favorite tracks. Langley captured his second consecutive Metropolitan Open Championship on Saturday by a 3 shot margin over St. Louis' John Kelly.

July 2, 2009 - St. Louis, MO - Four St. Louis area amateur golfers are in the field at the 2009 Sahalee Players Championship in Seattle, WA. Berkmeyer, fresh off his victory at the Missouri Amateur Championship, and Adam Long off his T2 finish at the Northeast Amateur are in action. Scott Langley of the University of Illinois and Mitchell Gregson of Kansas State University finish off the four players.

2008 Metropolitan Amateur Senior Player of the Year, Scott Thomas is in the field and tees off at 8:40am. Thomas will be attempting to qualify for the Senior Open on his home course at Meadowbrook Country Club. Paired with Thomas is Paul Trittler, coming back in town from his post in Arizona.
