June 14, Belk Park GC - Only days removed from U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying where he came up short of qualifying for the United States Open, Skip Berkmeyer was back doing what he does best - winning. Two years ago, Berkmeyer fired a course record, 10 under par 62, to win the East Side Amateur. This year, a pair was good enough to take down the pot.

May 30 - Old Warson Country Club - Three of the top four seeds made it through day one of the Metropolitan Amateur Match Play Championship at Old Warson Country Club.

May 16 - Normandie Golf Club - Normandie Golf Club is the oldest golf club west of the Mississippi river still in operation in its original location. Over the years, Normandie Golf Club has seen their share of legendary golfers tee it up and in recent years the area's top players can be found each May competing in the Normandie Amateur Championship.

The top of the scoreboard at the Bulldog Battle at WingHaven looked more like the Tritons Invitational than a high school tournament. WingHaven hosted a Division II college golf tournament hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis for several years and few teams were able to post as low a score as the team from Holt did on Monday.
