Defending champion Shweta Galande leads after Round 1 of the 20th Metropolitan Women's Amateur Championship
Monday at Algonquin Golf Club. Galande, fired a 2-over round of 73 to
lead Ellen Port by 4 shots heading into Round 2 Tuesday. Conditions were
blustery over the Algonquin GC layout for Round 1.
Leaders in the other two flights can be found below via the links to
each flight. The final grouping will go at 10:20am Tuesday to determine
who's name will go on the Jayne M. Watson Trophy for 2012!
