With one big tournament remaining, it's been quite a fall for the University of Illinois men's golf team. Monday that positive streak continued as Illinois claimed the title at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate hosted by Illinois State University in Normal.

Wisconsin Parkside started the day 6 back of first round leader Bellarmine University. After a second round team score of 290, it took extra holes but Wisconsin Parkside pulled off the come from behind victory to win the 2008 Tritons Invitational.

A pair of 68's has positioned Bellarmine University at the top of the leaderboard through one round at the Tritons Invitational hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Seven of the top Division II golf programs in the region are competing over 36 holes at The Landings Golf Course in Chesterfield, MO, October 13-14.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis Men's Golf team got off to a good start this week at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Missouri.

Over one hundred of Missouri's finest senior amateur golfers teed it up at Old Warson Country Club in St. Louis on Tuesday. While many enjoyed their first opportunity to play one of the state's finest venue's, one player in the field had a decisive home course advantage and used that advantage to tie for the first round lead. Mike Smith is the Assistant Caddie Master and Caddie at Old Warson and has been involved at the club for nearly 20 years.
