12th Stroke Play Championship July 21-23, 2009 Dalhousie Golf Club, Cape Girardeau, Missouri

WHO CAN PLAY - Entries are open to male amateur golfers who play at clubs or courses who are members of the Missouri Golf Association with a certified handicap index of not more than 8.5 on the USGA Men's Handicap System.

Those players not on the USGA GHIN handicap system must produce a copy of their current handicap card showing both index and date of revision to the MGA office.

ENTRIES – Entrants shall apply on MGA forms. A $135 entry fee shall be paid by every player. Entry deadline is July 7, 2009.

Entry fee includes a practice round the day before the tournament, the Championship rounds, and cart fees for the Championship rounds. A caddie may be used at any time during the Championship.

SCHEDULE - The field will consist of 156 players.

    Tuesday - July 21
     First round, 18 holes
     Wednesday - July 22
     Second round, 18 holes
     Cut to low 50 & ties
     Thursday - July 23
     AM - Third round, 18 holes
     PM - Final round, 18 holes

PRIZES - 
Winner- appropriate award and the Traveling Trophy for one year. Runner Up - Award
Top 25 finishers will receive gift certificates from pro shop.

Hotel - The Drury Hotel is the official hotel for all MGA events.
