23rd Senior Amateur Championship-Sept. 18-19, 2012 St Joseph CC
WHO CAN PLAY - Entries are open to male amateur golfers who play at clubs or courses who are members of the Missouri Golf Association with a certified handicap index of not more than ten (10.0) on the USGA Men's Handicap System. Entrants must have reached their 50th birthday by the first day of the tournament to compete.
Those players not on the USGA GHIN handicap system must produce a copy of their current handicap card showing both index and date of revision to the MGA office.
ENTRIES – Entrants shall apply on MGA forms. A $145 entry fee shall be paid by every player. Entry deadline is Sept. 4, 2012.
Entry fee includes a practice round the day before the tournament and the Championship rounds.
REFUNDS - Cancellations before the close of entries will be refunded less a $30 fee. No refunds after the deadline date.
SCHEDULE - The field will consist of 120 players.
Monday - September 17
Practice round
Tuesday - September 18
First round, 18 holes
Wednesday - September 19
Second round, 18 holes
PRIZES -
Winner- appropriate award and the Traveling Trophy for one year. Runner Up - Award
Top 25 finishers will receive gift certificates from pro shop. There will be additional prizes awarded in the the 60 & over age group.
Hotel - The Drury Hotel is the official hotel for all MGA events.
