Championship Facts
15th Mid-Amateur Championship Sept. 15-16, 2009 Glen Echo Country Club, St. Louis, Missouri
WHO CAN PLAY - Entries are open to male amateur golfers who play at clubs or courses who are members of the Missouri Golf Association. Players must have reached their 25th birthday by the first day of the championship to compete.
Those players not on the USGA GHIN handicap system must produce a copy of their current handicap card showing both index and date of revision to the MGA office.
ENTRIES – Entrants shall apply on MGA forms. A $135 entry fee shall be paid by every applicant. Entry deadline is September 1, 2009.
Entry fee includes a practice round the day before the tournament and the Championship rounds. Cart fees are not included in entry fee.
SCHEDULE - The field will consist of 120 players.
Stroke Play - 36 holes
Tuesday - September 15
First round, 18 holes
Wednesday - September 16
First round, 18 holes
PRIZES - Winner - appropriate awards and the Traveling Trophy for one year. Merchandise certifiates in pro shop for all other prizes.
Hotel - The Drury Hotel is the official hotel for all MGA events.
