COLLEGIATE INVITATIONAL FACTS

6th MGA Junior Collegiate Preview Invitational Twin Hills CC, Joplin Missouri August 13-14, 2012

Eligibility - BY INVITATION ONLY. Invitations will be extended to male junior golfers that are known to the MGA that meet the following criteria. Eligible entrants must be entering their freshmen through senior years of high school by September 1, 2012 and must not have graduated from high school.

You do not have to be a member of a MGA Member Club. All players must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the USGA Rules of Golf. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, for reasons the MGA deem appropriate, to include but not limited to, violations of the MGA Code of Conduct, USGA Amateur Status.

CRITERIA FOR INVITATION -
2011 MGA Junior Amateur Champion
2011 Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska Junior Champions
2011 MGA Junior Match Play Champion
2011 Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska Junior Match Play Champions
2011 Ozark Challenge Cup Team
2011 Top 20 players on the MGA Junior Cup Points List
2011 Top 5 players on their State Junior Cup Points list not included above.

Tournament selection from entrants will be made 14 days before the tournament, whereby an invitation does not guarantee a spot in the field. The field will consists of 48 players on a first come first in basis.

Any player not meeting the above invitation criteria but wishes to participate is encouraged to submit a golf resume' for consideration to Randy Bickel at the MGA at PO Box 104164, Jefferson City, MO 65110

ENTRIES – Entrants shall apply on MGA forms. A $120 entry fee must be paid by every player. The entry fee includes the Championship rounds and practice round.

REFUNDS - Entry fees are not refundable.

SCHEDULE -
     Friday - August 10
     Practice Round
     Saturday - August 11
     18 holes
     Sunday - August 12
     18 holes
     Monday - August 13
     18 holes

PRIZES: Awards and prizes are in compliance with the MSHSAA guidelines.

The MGA encourages all junior golfers to familiarize themselves with the Pace of Play guidelines.
