Junior Amateur Facts
26th MGA Junior Amateur Championship July 7-8, 2009 Westwood Hills CC & Ozark Ridge Golf Course, Poplar Bluff, Missouri
WHO CAN PLAY - Entries are open to male and female golfers ages 12-18 years of age. Male and female golfers will be competing in their own divisions. Participants that have competed on the college level college are not eligible.
ENTRIES – Entrants shall apply on MGA forms. A $65 entry fee must be payed by every player . The
entry deadline is June 23rd. The entry fee includes a practice round the day before the Championship and the Championship rounds.
REFUNDS - Entry fees are not refundable.
AGE DIVISIONS - 12-13, 14-15 & 16-18 The 14-15 & 16-18 will compete together for the overall championship.
SCHEDULE -
Tuesday - July 7
First round - 18 holes
Wednesday - July 8
Second round - 18 holes
PRIZES: Awards and prizes are in compliance with the MSHSAA guidelines.
Caddies are allowed in this event. Players are not allowed to use carts.
The MGA encourages all junior golfers to familiarize themselves with the Pace of Play guidelines.
