Missouri Golf Association

The MGA Foundation was founded to provide collegiate golf scholarships. This foundation also acts as the trustee for, and administers scholarships funding for the Robert G. Paris Memorial Fund and the C. Damon Hieronymus Memorial Fund.

Paris Memorial Scholarship

The Robert G. Paris Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a college sophomore, junior or senior attending a Missouri college or university. The student-athlete must be a Missouri resident and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better. Other factors considered in choosing the recipient include the financial needs of the student-athlete, his contribution to the team, and playing skill. Potential recipients are nominated by their coaches and selected by the Board of Directors of the Missouri Golf Association at its annual June meeting.

Mr. Paris lived in West Plains and was a dedicated supporter of amateur and junior golf. The scholarship is funded from money donated in memory of the late Mr. Paris by his family and friends. The scholarship and funds are administered by the Missouri Golf Foundation.
