N. Myrtle Beach, SC...The National Golf Association's Hooters Professional Golf Tour, presented by Hooters of America announced today that the Nationwide Tour's Knoxville Open presented by Food City has granted an exemption into the event to The Hooters Tour leading money winner over the three (3) events in May: St. Louis, MO, Evansville, IN, & Lexington, KY. The Hooters Tour member who accumulates the most money in those three events will earn the exemption into The Knoxville Open Presented by Food City.

COLUMBUS, IND., March 29, 2009 - Sophomore Tim Cochran finished five strokes over par to earn a third place finish at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational this weekend at the Otter Creek Golf Club, helping the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team to a third place finish in the team standings. The 36 hole championship finished amidst freezing temperatures and a constant rain.

Bellarmine University led the tournament after 18 holes with a team score of 292. Wisconsin Parkside was in 2nd place at 302 with Missouri-St. Louis in 3rd with a team score of 304. UMSL entered the championship as the 15th ranked team in the Great Lakes Region and needed head to head wins against Lewis University and Wisconsin Parkside to improve their regional standing. "It's important we begin to get a few head to head victories", said head coach, Dustin Ashby.

Springfield, MO - March 24, 2009 - Highland Springs Country Club has hosted a variety of professional and amateur championships, including the Nationwide Tour and Missouri Golf Association Amateur events. This past week, it was the state's top college players that teed it up on one of the state's premier championship golf courses.

Norwood Hills amateur Skip Berkmeyer was among the chief proponents for the reincarnation of a once popular format - a season-beginning match play event pitting the areas top amateurs against the top club professionals from the Gateway PGA. After a hiatus of more than a decade, the best from sides resurrected the concept Sunday and Monday.
