Jim Patton, Springfield MO, was right at home in more ways than one when he was inducted into the MGA Hall of Fame at Twin Oaks Country Club on Monday June 21st 2010 home of the 2010 Missouri Amateur Championship, an event with Patton had himself won in 1966. The Springfield star received his hall of fame award for his dedication to the Missouri Golf Association. Patton has been a member of the MGA board of directors since 1972 and served as president from ’94-’96. He joins a Hall of Fame that also sees legends such as Payne Stewart, Ken Lanning, Jim Jackson and Tom Watson. The MGA is grateful for Patton’s outstanding commitment and is greatly appreciative of his time and effort given to the association.
