Father Son Championship 2010 Results

The 2010 Father Son Championship saw 76 teams play two rounds at The Club At Porto Cima. With a slight set back during the first day with a two hour storm delay the rest of the tournament saw blazing hot temperatures and a tournament enjoyed by all.
The Super Senior flight saw a three way tie for first place with a two day total of 133 (eleven-under-par) between the Patton's, Kirksey's and Hovis'. The Century flight was won by the Haskell's that posted a two day score of 136 (eight-under-par). While the Pro flight was dominated by the Godwin's shooting a two day total of 139 (five-under-par).
The Championship flight was split up into five different flights based off handicap index's within each team. The Lanning flight was won by the Schuermann's with a two day total of 153 (nine-over-par). The Watson flight saw a three way tie between the Kennedy's, Sterling's and the Kressig's with a 148 (four-over-par). The Stewart flight saw the Wilson's as winners with a 147 (three-over-par) and the Nicklaus flight was won by the Gershon's with a five-under-par 139. The final flight, Rafferty, had a two way tie between the Knaebel's and the Rentfrow's with a four-over-par 148.
The overall 2010 Father Son Championship winners by a score card play off were Bobby and Buddy Godwin.
