2011 State Club Championship
The Club at Porto Cima

The 2011 State Club Championship is a new event for the MGA and what better place to conduct the inaugural event than The Club at Porto Cima, home of the 2001 Stroke Play Championship and the 2002 Mid-Amateur Championship.  The Club at Porto Cima offers the perfect setting for this team event and will serve as the springboard for this event in the years to come. 

Championship caliber players enjoy the challenge the various venues offer, and this venue offers such a wide variety of challenges for players of every skill set.  The inaugural champions will enjoy the honor of not only being just that, but knowing they were crowned champions on a truly challenging and beautiful golf course.

The Club/Course has the option to choose their team by any method.
The Club/Course can invite four male players:
-Golf Pro, Head Teaching Pro or Assistant Pro
-An amateur player using gross score
-A Senior amateur Player (50 and over)using gross score
-A Net amateur player (with a certified handicap index on the USGA men's handicap system)
