2011 MGA Collegiate Preview Tournament

WILL NOW BE HELD AT MEADOW LAKE ACRES COUNTRY CLUB IN NEW BLOOMFIELD

The Jefferson City Country Club has cancelled the Dawson/Boyce Tournament and subsequently the MGA Junior Collegiate Preview Tournaments scheduled for August 6-8, 2011.  In an effort to conduct the Collegiate Preview, I have made arrangements with Meadow Lake Acres Country Club, New Bloomfield, Missouri (10 miles from Jefferson City) to serve as the host venue.

However, with such short notice and a busy member schedule, the event will be shortened to 36 holes and no practice round will be available.  This is not ideal, however they have been gracious enough to offer their course and your hotel/motel arrangements will still work for you, however you will not need a hotel/motel Sunday night.

Saturday, August 6     18 Holes starting at 1:00 p.m. with tee times at 9 minute intervals

Sunday, August 7        18 Holes starting at 1:00 p.m. with tee times at 9 minute intervals

Note to Players:  There is NO PRACTICE ROUNDS AVAILABLE.  Players will utilize motorized golf carts during the tournament at no expense to the players, the MGA is providing as a result of the extreme heat and the necessity of afternoon tee times.

We apologize for this change, however the circumstances were total out of our control and we are always aware that we are guest at any course we conduct events at.  Good luck and look forward to seeing you at the event.
