Tiger to lead Isleworth against Lake Nona in Tavistock Cup

Tavistock Cup, the crosstown rivalry between Isleworth and Lake Nona’s professional golf members, has finalized its field and set its pairings for the team competition, which takes place March 16-17.
Mark O’Meara returns as captain for Team Isleworth and is joined by teammates Tiger Woods, Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby, Daniel Chopra, Darren Clarke, John Cook, J.B. Holmes, Charles Howell III and Nick O'Hern.
Ernie Els returns as captain of Team Lake Nona which includes Ben Curtis, Chris DiMarco, Retief Goosen, Trevor Immelman, Graeme McDowell, Mark McNulty, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson.
The members of Isleworth and Lake Nona have won a combined total of 53 major championships and more than 710 career worldwide victories.
As in previous years, the team competition within Tavistock Cup will include hole-in-one prizes including Audi cars, Air Nautique boats, Omega watches and private air travel from Marquis Jet.
Round 1 will be a four-ball medal match play format. Within the four-ball, the two-person team with the lowest 18-hole better-ball total will win the match. Each win is worth 2 points, a tie is worth 1 point and a loss is worth 0 points. In total, there will be 10 points awarded for Round 1.

Round 2 will be a Four-ball Singles Medal Match Play format. Each player in the group plays an 18-hole stroke play singles match against each of the opposing two players; therefore, each player plays two singles matches. A win is worth 1 point, a tie is worth a ½ point and a loss is worth 0 points. In total, there will be 20 points awarded for Round 2. As a result, it will take 15½ points to win the Tavistock Cup and be crowned World Golf and Country Club Champion.
