May 15 - South Central Regional - Oklahoma State University is playing at home at Karsten Creek Golf Club and it's no surprise the #1 seeded Cowboys are at the top of the team leaderboard at the South Central Regional. So the remainder of the field is playing for a spot among the final four teams to qualify for the NCAA Championship.
Its truly a wide open race to grab one of these final four spots and it is essentially impossible to get the next four exactly right. Through 36 holes, Tennessee-Chattanooga is in 2nd place at 598, Arkansas at 599, Northwestern at 604 and LSU at 605. Three shots out of the final qualifying spot in the team competition is Wichita State, led by former Missouri Amateur Champion Connor McHenry who is leading the entire field at 2 under par. McHenry has bettered his closest teammate, Dustin Garza, by 9 shots to put the Shockers within striking distance of a spot in the National Championship.
