The Kansas City Golf Association conducted two outdoor Rules Seminars at Overland Park Golf Club and Drumm Farm Golf Club for area high school golf coaches.  Fifeteen schools attended and were represented by 166 players and 24 coaches.

"The outdoor seminars provide a fun and unique opportunity to visually teach the Rules of Golf to area coaches and players," states Russ Pick, Events and Competitions Manager.  "The seminars are similar to our Respect FORE the Game sessions that are taught to players before KC Junior Tour events.  If each kid learns something new that he can apply to the course I think we accomplised a lot."

The seminars are open to all high school golf teams that wish to attend.  The tentative dates for the fall seminars for the girls teams are August 20 for Missouri schools and August 27 for Kansas schools.  Interested coaches should contact Russ Pick at russ@kcgolf.org
