2009 GATEWAY PGA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION APPLICATION AND TOURNAMENT ENTRY

9-Hole Division - is for juniors that consistently score 64 or less (counting all strokes) for 9-holes and have the ability to play 9-holes in a reasonable length of time. Play is limited to 9-holes per event. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers and points are awarded to those who finish in the top 10 within their respective age groups. Age groups for boys and girls are 10-11, 12 –13, and 14-19. All players will play from approximately 2,500 – 2,800 yards. The price per event is $25 or six events for $125 (plus Membership Fee of $75). Each additional event, over six that are entered, will cost $25/event and the amount will be due at the time of registration. Remember to include Alternate Choices or your application will not be processed. Parents or substitute adults will be required to score two times and attend a rules seminar for 10-11 and 12-13 age groups. Indicate date of events that parent will score on application. * This event will serve a dual purpose, as a regular event and as the National Junior Championship for 12 and under players. There will be no extra fee charged. Winners at this level do not advance to the national tournament.

** Denotes the Gateway PGA Section Junior 9-Hole Championship. Any player who finishes in the top 3 in their division and meets the Target Score in any of the above events will qualify and receive an entry form for the Final Championship (Target Scores: Girls – 60 or less; Boys – 50 or less). Final Championship entry with $75 fee is due on or before July 23.
