2009 GATEWAY PGA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION APPLICATION AND TOURNAMENT ENTRY

18-Hole Division - is for junior boys that consistently score 54 or less for 9-holes, or consistently score 109 or less for 18-holes and for girls that consistently score 60 or less for nine holes or 120 or less for 18-holes and have the ability to play 18 holes in five hours. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers and points are awarded to the top 10 finishers within their respective age groups. Age groups for boys and girls are 12-13; 14-15; 16-19. 12-13 year old boys and 12-19 year old girls will play from approximately 4,800– 5,500 yards. 14-19 year old boys will play from approximately 6,200 yards. There is no limit to the number of events that a junior may enter as of February 16, 2009. The price per event is $40 or six events for $200 (plus $75 Membership Fee). Each additional event over six will cost $40/event and the amount will be due at the time of registration. Remember to include Alternate Choices or your application will not be processed. Parent/substitute adult will be required to score two times in the 12-13 year age divisions (cart will be provided). Please indicate the event dates that parent/substitute adult will score on application. Parent/substitute adult must attend a rules seminar. (Additional info, call Carol Fromuth 636-532-9191.)

** Denotes the Gateway PGA Section Junior 18-Hole Championship. Any player who finishes in the top 3 in their division and meets the Target Score in any of the above events will qualify and receive an entry form for the Final Championship. (Target Scores: Girls – 110 or less; Boys – 95 or less.) There will be an additional $125 entry fee for the Final Championship. Entries are limited to the first 100 applicants.
