Being not far removed from junior golf, I can remember the committment that my parents made when I decided to play the game of golf.  The committment did not stop with the shuttle service that they provided to and from events.  My parents found out quickly that golf can be an addicting sport.  Soon they would be dropping me off at the practice facility where I would beg to stay another hour after the time I had promised.

As we enter the 2009 Junior Golf season, I want to let all of our parents know that we deeply respect the time committment they have given their child and the Gateway PGA.  With all the options that your child has when it comes to sports and activities, we feel honored that you have chosen the Gateway Junior PGA.  The Gateway PGA will continue to deliver the personalized services that you have found to be the true charm of the program.  We have used the bad economy as a way to look inward at how we are running our program.  This inward look has led directly back to our junior members and their parents.  With our junior survey we will hear directly from the juniors and their parents to ensure that we are providing all of your desired needs.

I look forward to meeting all of our juniors and their parents.  I am excited about the passion that Carol shares for the program and each of its competitors.  With a little good weather I am sure the shuttle will be gassed up and ready to leave the station!
