The Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association and Gateway PGA have joined efforts to resurrect a Ryder Cup style match between the top amateurs and top professionals of their respective associations.

Carolyn Bivens, Finchem's counterpart on the LPGA Tour, isn't quite as lucky. But Bivens isn't embracing this downturn in the economy during her first year at the helm of the Ladies professional game.
