Fantasy Golf teams were devastated when Tiger Woods walked off the golf course in the final round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship. Woods wasn't going to win this week, but he was sure to get a top 20 finish and rack up some earnings for owners who had Woods on their Fantasy Golf team this week.

As the newest member of The Back Nine on 101.1 ESPN, I've been given the privilege of creating a new segment. The idea of "The Humidor" struck me as appropriate, due to the fact any opinion let alone mine, is mostly the equivalent of "blowing smoke up your (you know what). At least here at the Back Nine, we all play the game we love to talk about and have a desire to improve, no matter what level we've reached. At any rate, hopefully you will glean from this tiny bit of rhetoric is to open your eyes and ears to the lesser known stories, people, events, in the world of golf. Some will make your laugh, cry and hopefully all will make you smile.....of course while enjoying a fine cigar.

Okatie, SC – Gusty final-round winds and a 24-hour temperature drop of nearly 30 degrees did little to slow down 54-hole leader Chris Naegel of Chesterfield, MO at the eGolf Tour's Oldfield Open. The 29-year-old put on a clinic in Saturday's closing round with four birdies and an eagle at the par-5 11th en route to a 4-under 68 and the $25,000 first-place prize.
