It's Masters week in the world of golf and for those of us in the Midwest, that means golf season has truly arrived. Country Clubs across the state will be conducting their opening day festivities over the next few weeks. High School golf seasons are in motion and the Missouri Golf Association schedule of tournaments is right around the corner.

The Missouri Golf Association is on the leading edge of delivering Missouri golf fans the news and insight they long for when following the championships conducted by the MGA. New in 2010, the MGA introduced online chats with top performers at this year's Missouri Amateur Championship.

On a day when 21 players broke par at Twin Oaks Country Club, it's to nobody's surprise the par 4, 18th hole stood its ground. The 18th played to an average of 4.565 and ranked as the most difficult hole of the course for players in the first round of the Missouri Amateur Championship.
