Skip Berkmeyer named 2010 Player of the Year

Mr. Berkmeyer, St Louis, receives the Missouri Golf Association 2010 honor of Player of the Year. Finising first in points (1317.50) over Jace Long, Dixon in second place with 1085 points and Will Harrold, Columbia in third with 1077 points followed by the 2010 Missouri Amateur Champion Brad Nurski, St. Joseph, with 655 points. Berkmeyer, finished second in the Ozark invitational behind Carr Vernon, Poplar Bluff, made it to the semi finals of the Missouri Amateur Championship, and finished second in the MGA Stroke Play Championship behind Ryan Marks, Warrensburg. Berkmeyer also qualified for the US Pub Links and qualified and made match play in the US Amateur and the US Mid Amateur this season.  Our congratulations go out to Skip Berkmeyer and we are sure he will continue to succeed in future golf events.
