Individual Medalist: Laurence Noott, 75-69-70--214

The Missouri Golf Association conducted the Inaugural College Regional Preview Tournament at the Jefferson City Country Club on October 11th and 12th with the University of Central Missouri, Warrenburg winning with a team total of 873 on the par 72 venue. Missouri Southern University, Joplin, the first round leader was the second place team carding an 884-team score for the 54 whole event, while the University of Missouri St. Louis was third with a 887-team total.

 

Laurence Noott, University of Central Missouri was the medalist for the event with rounds of 75, 69, and 70 for a 2 under par 214 besting Thomas Hay of Drury University, Springfield, who posted a 215 and Jamie Vogeli of Missouri Southern University at 216.


Tim Cochran of the University of Missouri St. Louis posted the best single round score, a 9 under par 63 in Tuesdays round ending with an individual total of 221. His round consisted of 10 birdies and 1 bogey on his way to a tremendous round on a difficult venue. Cochran tied the course record held by Connor McHenry and Kirk Farmer of JCCC.
