The Kansas City Golf Association conducted two outdoor Rules Seminars at Overland Park Golf Club and Drumm Farm Golf Club for area high school golf coaches. Fifeteen schools attended and were represented by 166 players and 24 coaches.

KCGA wins Mid-America Junior Cup. A team of juniors from the Kansas City Golf Association won three of four matches from the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association Junior team Sunday to win the 10th Mid-America Junior Cup matches at Glen Echo Country Club. After splitting four matches on Saturday, the KCGA jumped out to early leads in all foursomes matches (alternate shot) on Sunday.
