Having won three of their last four events by at least 13 shots, the Illinois men's golf team looked ready to run away with their second consecutive Big 10 Championship Sunday at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independance, Minn.

The Masters on CBS and ESPN saw double-digit gains in key male demos last week. The four telecasts, however, saw a dip among females 18-34, down 11% from last year. In all, women accounted for 34% of The Masters audience on CBS/ESPN, which was flat compared to '09 (THE DAILY).

In what might be a preview of the ACC Championships in less than two weeks, Duke rode a final-day 281 to a second-place finish among an ACC-heavy field in Raleigh this past weekend. At the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the campus of N.C. State, senior Adam Long—behind a gritty final-round 68—captured first-place honors at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate with a one-shot win.
