Preview of the Metropolitan Open at St. Albans
One of the year’s deepest and strongest fields will compete for the 3rd Annual Metropolitan Open title, July 10-12 at The Country Club of St. Albans.
The event features nearly all of the region’s top amateurs and club professionals as well as mini-tour professionals from the Midwest. A full field of 135 golfers will begin play at 7 a.m. Thursday and Friday. The field will be cut to the low 40 and ties for Saturday’s final round. We hope you can join us for this event at one of the country’s top golf courses – the Lewis and Clark Course at St. Albans, selected as site of the 2009 USGA State Team Championship.
