A great show is lined up for this Saturday on The Back Nine featuring Dustin Ashby, Adam Frillman and Troy Halterman on 101.1 ESPN.  Jason Sobel of ESPN will join the show at 8:35 to discuss this week's PGA Tour Event, the AT&T at Congressional hosted by none other than Tiger Woods.  Anthony Kim, last year's winner, got off to a sizzling start with an 8-under par 62, but Tiger is only two behind thru one round.  Tiger is off early on Friday, so we'll see what pace he can establish for Anthony to try and keep up with.

Last week Dustin had the opportunity to attend the Missouri Golf Association Hall of Fame Dinner on Monday Night of the Missouri Amateur Championship week.  Each Inductee into the MGA Hall of Fame was honored, many of whom were in attendance that night.  The late, great Bob Cochran was represented by members of his extended family in Jerry Cochran and Tim Cochran that evening.  Golf Historian, Jim Healey will join The Back Nine at 9:15 to share his stories of Bob Cochran - truly one of golf's greatest players and someone many in St. Louis were fortunate to know personally.

The Bogeyman, Dan O'Neill will join the show for his weekly "On the clock" segment to give his perspective on the news and notes in the world of golf.  Romo teed it up with Tiger at the AT&T Pro-Am.........what's more difficult - being a PGA Tour Player or Quarterback in the NFL?.........Can Romo or Big Ben (both good golfers) ever make a run at the PGA Tour if they wanted to?

The fireworks started a week early in St. Joseph, MO on Sunday as Skip Berkmeyer defeated Justin Bardgett to win his 2nd Missouri Amateur Championship.  It took 37 holes to get it done, but Berkmeyer joined a select group of players to have won multiple State Amateur titles.  Berkmeyer was one of four players to tee it up in this week's Sahalee Players Championship in Seattle.
