The Long Putter is here to stay - like it or not. Despite what some miniscule European Mini-Tour is trying to do by banning the belly putter, the USGA and R&A have let this cat out of the bag and there is no return. Not that I'm personally against it, as I think the Belly Putter / Long Putter has it's own set of unique challenges, but those looking to see someone regulate the Long Putter can forget it.

Was looking through the website and saw this post on Long Putters.....and clearly there is some movement on this topic as the USGA and R&A are now "looking into" the issue again. Who knows what will happen, but I'm still not convinced they'll make a decision to ban these putters.
